SoapyThis policy explains what information the Soapy app ("the app") and the website soapyhabit.com handle. Soapy is operated by Serhii Kharauzov ("we", "us"), based in Poland. Soapy is intended for use by parents. It has no accounts and does not ask for a name or any other personal details.

Photos and camera
The app uses the camera, or a photo you choose, only to run a routine. The photo is analyzed on your device. It is not stored by the app beyond the session, not uploaded, not synced to iCloud, and not shared with anyone, including us.
Data stored on your device
Settings (such as sound and video style) and progress (completed routines, stars, companion items) are stored on your device. This data does not include photos or your name.
iCloud sync (optional)
If you turn iCloud sync on, progress records are synced through your own private iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. We cannot access them. Photos are never synced. You can turn sync off in Settings.
Purchases
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We do not receive your payment details or name. The app only learns whether a subscription is active.
Usage statistics and crash reports
The app uses Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics. They run for all users. They collect:
- usage events and screen views (fixed categories only, no free text),
- basic app information (such as app version, operating system version, and language),
- a pseudonymous app-instance identifier created for each installation. It is random and is reset when the app is reinstalled,
- country-level location only, derived by Google from the IP address (we turned off granular location and device data collection),
- crash reports, which include technical details about the crash, such as the device model and operating system version.
We do not send photos, settings, progress details, names, or contact details. We do not use this data for advertising and do not share it for advertising. We have turned off the vendor identifier, Google signals, ad personalization, and ad storage, and we have not linked Google Ads or any other advertising product. The app does not use the advertising identifier and does not track you across other apps or websites. Google processes this data on our behalf; see https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
Website and support emails
Our website hosting provider may process technical request data (such as IP address) to deliver and secure the site. The website has no advertising cookies. If you email us, we receive your email address and message, and use them only to reply.
Sharing
We do not sell your information. We share it only with Google (Firebase), Apple (purchases, iCloud), our website and email service providers, and authorities when the law requires it. These providers may process data outside your country, under safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Retention
Data on your device stays until you reset progress or delete the app. Google keeps usage and crash data linked to the app-instance identifier for a short period of time; only aggregated statistics are kept longer. Support emails are kept only as long as needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and to complain to your data protection authority (in Poland, UODO). The data we hold is pseudonymous, so we may need extra information from you to find it. You can revoke camera access in iOS Settings, turn iCloud sync off, and reset progress in the app at any time.
Children
We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version.
